Dialann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge 2019 – Advertising opportunity

It’s hard to believe that Autumn is upon us again!

Gaillimh le Gaeilge is busy working on Dialann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge 2019. Publication of the Dialann is funded solely by advertising. We distribute over 280 copies of the Dialann to Cairde Ghaillimh le Gaeilge, as well as Councillors, local politicians, the business community and other representatives in Galway FREE OF CHARGE in early December.

We have a few spaces available and would love to see our Cairde feature in it! Please contact us on 091 568876 or email gearoidin@gleg.ie to reserve a space for your business/organsiation.

An Ghaeilge sa Ghnó

Remember, today is the day to start preparing for Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2019! Freshii and The Pie Maker have recently introduced new bilingual signage.

By introducing the Irish language in your business, you can add value and attract business in a simple and cost-effective way. You don’t need to be a fluent speaker to use Irish in your business, Gaillimh le Gaeilge is here to help you! Irish can be used in any area of your business – for example in signage, stationery, on websites, social media, in brochures, or through providing a service in Irish.

Please contact us today at 091 568876 or eolas@gleg.ie.

Eolaire Gnó

We are currently updating our Business Directory (Eolaire Gnó) and bringing it in line with the new GDPR regulation. The Eolaire Gnó is a list of people in Galway City who can provide a ‘Seirbhís trí Ghaeilge’ which will be published on www.gleg.ie.

If you would like to participate in this project, we would love to hear from you. This is another way to gain a competitive advantage through promoting your ‘seirbhís trí Ghaeilge’.

For more information, please contact 091 568876 or gearoidin@gleg.ie.

Lón Gnó na Míosa

Lón Gnó Ghaillimh le Gaeilge is back again for the autumn with the first one is taking place in Park House Hotel, Forster Street, Galway  on Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 from 1.00p.m.-2.00p.m.

People are sometimes reluctant to attend the Lón Gnó because of their lack of Irish. Please don’t hesitate to attend because of this – the Lón Gnó is an informal event and we welcome people with all different levels of Irish. This gives you a great opportunity to improve your fluency in an informal and relaxing atmosphere.

Slán le Cara Dílis

Bord Stiúrtha and Foireann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge would like to express their sympathy to the family of an Dr. Eithne Mhic Aoidh. Duine de laochra móra na Gaeilge; ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
