Korean Broadcasting Station’s visit to Galway City

KBS, the largest broadcaster in South Korea (similar in stature to RTÉ in Ireland), visited Galway last week and met with Gaillimh le Gaeilge.

Representatives from the station met the Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Frank Fahy, and the President of Galway Chamber, Frank Greene, as well. They were interviewed about the efforts underway to achieve bilingual status for Galway City.

This was a fantastic opportunity to promote Galway on an international stage as a lively, cultural city with a unique spirit.
